Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu: Distance: 330kms – 6 hrs drive.
Leave Nairobi at 7:30am, after your breakfast, leave northwards, flank Mt. Kenya and descend into the dry rugged semi-desert where Samburu National Reserve is situated. Samburu reserve harbors many species of animals not found in the more lush parks to the south. Meals at Samburu Lodge.
Day 2: Samburu National Reserve:
Explore the reserve with packed. You will see wildlife unique to this game reserve such as: reticulated giraffes, Grevy’s zebras, and oryx in addition to “The Big Five”. Meals and night at the Samburu Lodge.
Day 3: Samburu - Nairobi:
After the morning game drive leave for Nairobi arriving back by 5pm
